Welcome to Foundation Two

During 'Science Week' we problem solved how to get our mouse into space.

We had a fabulous time on our trip to Imagination Lane. We loved pretending to be builders, doctors, nurses, chefs, shop keepers, customers, digger drivers and much more.

Our Nativity Singalong went really well and we looked fabulous in our costumes.

Some of our parents were invited to join in with a Read Write Inc Phonics speed sound lesson.

At our 'Arctic Fundraiser' we baked and ate reindeer biscuits, created melted snowman models using food, drank hot chocolate, watched A Mammoth Christmas and used our cutting skills for walrus art.

Foundation Two shared an exciting 'Christmas Craft' morning with Year 1 and Year 2.

We ate a delicious Christmas Dinner in our party hats.

We played traditional party games at our Christmas party.

Janet Eardley from Stoke-on-Trent Library visited us to read us some amazing stories and give us all a library card. Our parents and carers were invited too!

Foundation Stage love learning about different cultures and had lots of fun celebrating Chinese New Year. We used chopsticks, made special money envelopes, danced to Chinese music, looked at Chinese artefacts and much more.

Father George came in to show us what happens during a role play Baptism.

To celebrate Shrove Tuesday we made pancakes together.
