We celebrated the Feast Day of our namesake, Saint Thomas Aquinas. We looked at some quotes from this great saint and discussed what they mean to us. We linked these with how God’s love for us is infinite and everything else around us changes.

Educational Visit

WOW, we  had an amazing day at the Brampton museum! Through The Magic Story Box, we entered story world and travelled through time on a fantastic adventure learning and exploring toys from long ago! We showed great enthusiasm, knowledge and  were praised on our impeccable behaviour.

Autumn Term

The true meaning of Christmas

This year we focused on elves and found out that the elves would like to find out how we have been good this year. So with that in mind, we reflected how we have being a good follower of Jesus this year. We then created a fun Elf craft.

We celebrated our fantastic first term in Year 1 with a little well deserved treat!

Collective worship

With support from Miss Coxon, we planned our own Advent collective worship. We enjoyed sharing with one another how we are going to prepare for our Lord. We were excited to go fourth as we wanted to share our star wands with our families and tell them what we are waiting for.

Prayer garden

We visited the prayer garden and gave our own praise and thanks to God.

Art

Look at our class wavy masterpiece!

RE

We really enjoyed working together to make our own stain glass windows to honour, Our Lady, Our Mother, Mary.

We shared our stain glass windows with classes across the school so that they could display them during the month of October.
